Fellow members of the group were left in awe of what the 62-year-old South Australian woman did with the space, saying she should advertise it on Airbnb.
The mother-of-six revealed to FEMAIL that she had a vision to make it like a motel room and began de-cluttering the garage in July 2018, before a wall was put in early December and styling done in three days in preparation for Christmas.
'I had a vision where every single item would go.
Along with my husband we thought long and hard about the practicality of the space, the ambience we wanted to create and we endeavoured to give it a look that would appeal to both genders,' she told Daily Mail Australia.
